Anaheim approves permit for granny unit at Benwood Drive
The Anaheim City Council unanimously approved a conditional use permit for an existing granny unit at 302 S Benwood Drive. Owner Ken Isenhart may keep the unit if no rent is charged, only two residents aged 62 or older may live there, he must reside in the main house, provide six parking spaces, and rehabilitate the unit to code. The vote followed prior planning denials and concerns over building violations.
