Groundskeeper at Anaheim Cemetery preserves local history
Sergio Ayala, longtime groundskeeper at the Anaheim Cemetery, locates graves of Orange County’s founders and Civil War veterans. The 1866 founded graveyard holds 11,542 interments, one public and four private mausoleums, and in-ground cremation plots. It honors Chinese workers who believed their remains would return home.

The 35th annual Orange County Black History Parade and Cultural Faire occurs Saturday in downtown Anaheim, starting 10 a.m. on Anaheim Boulevard from Lincoln to Santa Ana Street. State Sen.
