ONCILWOMAK Kris Murray noted economic gains as Anaheim City Council renewed the Disneyland Resort ticket tax for three more decades. A month later Disney revealed a $1 billion investment in the Anaheim theme parks, including major development plans and new projects announced during the mayoral visit.
Anaheim officials report that the ARTIC transit station reduces about 3.8 million metric tons of carbon dioxide annually on weekdays by riders using buses and trains. Updated city figures show 2,406 daily mass transit riders in July, rising to 3,878 on Angels game days.
Anaheim Public Library Foundation asks residents to raise about 200000 to furnish newly remodeled Euclid and Sunkist branches. The two libraries closed for updates including paint, carpeting, and renovated restrooms while crews work. A bookmobile serves Sunkist 1 5 p.m. weekdays and Euclid 2 5 p.m. every other Friday.
