Rose Parade honors and student achievements from North County
Yorba Linda junior Adam Carrillo will march in the Rose Parade with the Pasadena City College Tournament of Roses Honor Band. Chandra Char of Yorba Linda earned the 2015 Excellence in Disabilities and Public Health Research Award from the American Public Health Association after completing a master’s in public health at Touro University. Eagle Scout Brian Mitchell of La Habra, a La Habra High senior, earned the rank with extensive service including junior assistant scoutmaster duties and involvement in NJROTC and bands. He plans to join the Navy and built shelving for a church library as his service project. North County residents’ achievements are highlighted in Bravo.
