Cape Beach collapses as storm damage closes Dana Point area
Capsized sea walls and a damaged walkway at Capist rano Beach in Dana Point prompted an indefinite closure. OC Parks spokeswoman Marisa O Neill said crews will stabilize the area and assess long term needs while utilities clearance is obtained. The wrecked sea wall exposed decades old cars and debris, drawing crowds before cleanup begins.
