Tustin Avenue signal timing improves flow after 2012 project
A coordinated signal system on Tustin Avenue completed in 2012 by the Orange County Transportation Authority boosted speeds and cut travel time between Lincoln and Fourth by about 12 to 16 percent. A 2018 study found speeds rose 19 percent and southbound commutes during peak times shortened. Regular updates are planned every three years to keep traffic moving smoothly.
