Anaheim Yorba Linda Push Ahead on Espeanza Road Soundwall
Anaheim and Yorba Linda advance plans for a 2.44 mile soundwall along Esperanza Road to quiet rail traffic noise. A $600,000 check from Anaheim funds one third of the $1.8 million estimated cost, with federal funding sought and a possible extra $300,000 if needed. Plans include a six to nine foot wall atop a landscaped berm and trees to screen the wall from Yorba Linda residents.
