Edison district rolls out kid friendly nutrition grant program
A $500 Health Care Agency grant funds Edison Elementary to run a month long activity plan starting with preschools and extending district wide. Robin Barry, an Edison resource teacher, led a Girl Scouts dance and health activity, including fruit tastings at a farmers market where blueberries were tasted for the first time by some girls.
