Casa de Soto Closes After 42 Years Sell Tacos Era Ends
Casa de Soto in Garden Grove, a North County institution since 1973, will close this month after 42 years. The family run restaurant famed for tamales enchiladas and chile relleno kept a two word mission Sell tacos. Staff longtime servers and patrons share memories of graduations weddings and celebrations. Owner Tony de Soto died in 1998 and the restaurant’s lease ends prompting the farewell. Call ahead as the last service approaches.
