Angels Host Private Kickoff For 2015 OC Walk To End Alzheimer’s
The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the Alzheimer’s Association Orange County held a kickoff at Angel Stadium Music Garden. Melissa Klaeb, 28, Mission Viejo, spoke on her mother’s early onset Alzheimer’s as attendees received game tickets and learned about the county’s largest fundraiser. Walks are planned in Laguna Niguel, Huntington Beach, and Anaheim, with over 8,000 expected to attend the Anaheim event. Alzheimer’s is a leading cause of death in Orange County, affecting more than 84,000 residents.
