Commercial College Meeting Promises Local School Launch
A mass meeting at McAninch Hall endorses a city Commercial College. Professor J. N. Clark outlines the venture and aims to start if suitable rooms are found and twenty five pupils enroll. Committees to secure scholar pledges report nearly thirty commitments. Also noted, Rev. R. Z. Beard's funeral is set for 0:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Presbyterian Church with Rev. R. L. Phelps officiating. Burial will follow.
