City council authorized 50 000 in bonds for dam completion and extending water sewer and electric lines to the Highland addition and cemetery. Dam work overseen by Mr. Smith is progressing. public support exists though opinions split on bond use and election structure.
At Tuesday’s school board meeting no opening date was set for the new term and a Friday night session will decide. About 20 high school boys gathered at 9:30 Wednesday to meet Prof. Allen and discuss athletics this year and next, with a temporary organization forming to strengthen the High School Athletic Program.
A wedding is planned for Claude E. Knauss age 86 and Mig Lector Hall age 20, in Ft Cobb with Jorlyn Fisher officiating. The couple will marry Thursday and then travel to Humphinson Kansas for the state fair, after which they return to their home near Ft Cobb.
