Four Indians Burned to Death in Eufaula Rooming House
Four Indians including Water Beaver and his wife and child perished in a rooming house fire in Eufaula. A daughter of Beaver recently graduated from the Indian school for girls. The blaze started in a feed store beneath a two story frame building owned by G. C. Cochran of McAlester and insured for 2500 dollars.

Death of Mrs Piatt Wife of Jacob Piatt
Mrs Piatt died after several days illness from a paralytic stroke. She never regained consciousness and died Sunday. Funeral was at the M E Church at 2:90 today, Rev FP L Farrington officiating, with many friends present and burial in the city cemetery. She was a devoted wife and mother and a member of the Ladies Circle of the G A R, the funeral attended by that group. The bereaved husband and children receive community sympathy in their sudden loss as they mourn the passing of their mother and home life.
