B. Million, a proprietor of the Apache Milling Company, suffered a concussion after being struck twice from behind at the elevator doorway while seeking an employee. He collapsed, recovered briefly, regained awareness Sunday, and remains in critical condition. police suspect a planned assault tied to stolen money.
In Commissioner Districts One and Three announcements name B. Thurmond and James Murphy seeking reelection.
