John Gro Johnson declares his candidacy for the 16th Senatorial District in Fort Cobb Oklahoma. Marriage of H W Hanselman and Edith Kemp at Rev Farrington

Married last evening at about 8 30 at Rev Farringtons residence were H W Hanselman of Anadar ko and Edith Kemp of Gracemont. Hanselman works for Divers and Taylor and is described as industrious. Kemp, a Gracemont resident, is noted to have many friends and well wishes from the Democrat for a happy life together. The Anadarko Cornet Band held its first practice at Fuller Hall with about twenty members present. Ten or twelve had instruments, others sent in instrument orders and the practice squad will grow as instruments arrive. The outlook is for one of the southwest's most successful bands.

Mad steer chases farmer to tree as herd collapses

B J Callahan reports another Woolley steer went mad with hydrophobia chasing him and his cow until they climbed a tree. Woolley plans to kill the animal today. This is the fourteenth of his seventeen cattle affected by the mad-dog bites. He heads to Oklahoma City to fetch his grandchild from the Paediatric Institute, the child having mild convulsions but now out of danger.

Riverside School employees and many Agency friends honored Mr. Grant who leaves for Fort Lowia Indian School in Colorado after five or six years of faithful service. A transfer for Mrs. Grant is proposed. he plans to return to Anadarko in August if arranged, and she would accompany him to Fort Lewis.
