The cast of the operetta Sylvia will rehearse tonight as they prepare for tomorrow's production. Pupils have shown wonderful improvement in recent days, with indications pointing to an excellent entertainment.
The Enid and Waurika train ran about three hours late on Monday after the engine derailed due to soft track. Crews realigned the track and reattached the engine with no injuries reported. Transactor David Ray conducted business in Apache Tugaday Syleta Wednesday night May 20th.
Anadarko reports indicate the Bridgeport bridge approval is out again as several other spans along the South Canadian rise by feet. A Tuesday morning notice cites ongoing danger while the region braces for more flooding.

The Board of County Commissioners of Caddo County will hold a Board of Equalization on June 1 1914 to consider 1914 assessments. District 1 June 2 District 2 June 3 District 3 June 4. Aggrieved taxpayers may appear on their district date to protest or file omissions.
Mr and Mrs Russell, expert tango dancers, will perform at Nasho Monday night. A reward is offered to anyone who can imitate Mr Russell to perfection. It promises to be amusing and not to miss.

The board approved contracts, hired an extra high school teacher, and set next term start for September 1 1914 with Christmas holidays through January 4 1915.

Sylvia attended the Open House on Wednesday night May 20. Mr and Mrs G G Black and children Virginia Ruth and Cecil of Oklahoma City visited Mrs Black's brother Attorney W H Starkweather and family and returned home Monday. Miss Kate Conley candidate for county Superintendent on the democratic ticket went to Oklahoma City Tuesday to visit friends. Miss Hazel L Engal of Binger stayed with Mrs J B Farrington. Miss Engal will lead music in the Episcopal church. Mrs EB A Fulkerson returned home Monday from Chickasha.
