School Christmas Cantata Draws Town People

Horse Killed by Train Near Pump House
J Labbau lost a horse yesterday morning when a southbound passenger train pulled in. The horse backed in front of the engine while he held the bridle near the pump house and was dragged several yards and killed instantly after being cut in the shoulder.
