A new Anadarko shop invites every man woman and child to browse its spring goods. The ad emphasizes elaborate lines of beauty style and quality and encourages visitors to compare with other stores. It notes there are too many items to describe and invites customers to drop in and see for themselves.
Joh P Blackman wed Miss Em ma Beall Methvin in Anadarko at the bride’s home with Rev Methvin officiating. Attendants included Mr Naties of Macon Georgia and J J Methvin Jr as best man. The couple, now Mr and Mrs Blackman, left for the south amid rice showers as friends offered wedding gifts.
Pierrie Johnson age 21 and Nora Patterson age 18 appeared in Judge Crump's court seeking a marriage license for a two person boat of matrimony. The court issued the documents and the couple wed by Reverend Kellar. A father later opposed the union but after investigation and confirmation the couple remained married and the father forgave them. The note ends with a separate classified line about a seven room cottage for sale and a property trade ad in Mena Arkansas and Anadarko Oklahoma.
Asa Palmer and Sursa J Clark were married by Rev Edward B Teis at the Florence Hotel at 6 p m last night. The couple will depart today for their home near Sickles O T.
Land offers include nine eighty acre parcels near town in a fine valley. The new Williams and Miller firm advertises real estate and insurance services with loans, brick work, and legal contracting. Agents JL Byrne Co and partners promote 80 acre Praire and valley farms must be sold at once.

The Post Office advertises bids to carry mail from Binger to Anadarko a 20 mile line six days weekly. Depart Binger daily except Sunday at 6:40 a.m. arrive Anadarko by 10:00 a.m. depart Anadarko at 1:00 p.m. arrive Binger by 7:00 p.m. Bids due May 17 1902 with blanks at the post office.
