Philomathic Club Elects Officers At Apr. Meeting
The Philomathic Club met with Mrs. Henry DeFort on West Oklahoma Ave Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. C. A Cleveland was elected president and Mrs. Emma Blackmon Vivre vice president. Recording secretary Miss Bell Nathan, corresponding secretary Mr. Chas R Hume, treasurer Mrs. Dykes Saltinger, auditor Mrs. D H Boyd, and critic Mrs J J Baird were chosen. Delegates and alternates were named for spring and fall district conventions. The meeting included talks on English architecture and Gothic and Colonial art, with guests Mrs C J Scheetz and L E McKnight. Refreshments followed and adjournment set for April 19.
