Paving under way on Broadway and Main Street project
A large force of men and teams began roadway paving Friday at First and Broadway with the Hill Paving Co. The work includes guttering and mower installation before full paving from the new boundary to east boundary. Main Street paving also proceeds, with the Hill Co. stressing quality and no sloppy work as Anadarko aims to be among the best paid small cities in the state by summer’s end.

St Patrick’s Social Honor for Presbyterian Ladies
The Ladies of the Social Union of the Presbyterian Church were entertained by Mesdames Wallis Pfaff Brown and Candler at the Mrs John Pfaff Sr home for a St Patrick s Social. About sixty five guests attended as rooms featured Irish colors and decorations. Tea wafers chicken sandwiches cake coffee were served and guests wrote verses on St Patrick with many found amusing. The event concluded with joyful musical entertainment and refreshments.
