John H Dye born January 2 1844 in Missouri died at 10451 Monday at his daughter's home Mrs EB Patterson after moving from Missouri in October. He was survived by a widow eight children and was a Baptist. Funeral held from West Broadway residence at 2 30 Tuesday afternoon led by Rev Brooks with help from Reverends Farrington and Johnson. The Democrat offers sympathy to the bereaved family.
