Guthrie March 6 The house committee on municipal corporations reports favorably the Taylor municipal election bill requiring an election on the first Tuesday in April with a primary on the third Tuesday in March. It calls for electing a mayor city clerk police judge city assessor city treasurer city attorney city marshal treasurer of the city school board street commissioner one councilman from each ward and one school board member from each ward. In certain older districts two councilmen and two school board members per ward may be elected to serve one and two years to be chosen by lot. Terms begin in May following the election. Primaries March third 1909.

Children hosted by Mr and Mrs O Draper on Third Street entertained about 20 youngsters Saturday afternoon from 2 to 5 oclock in honor of visiting Apache girls Alma Green aged thirteen and Mildred Green aged eight. Games followed by chicken sandwiches pickles chocolate and cake were served. The youngsters hope the Apache friends will return.

Blair gets his sentence for neighbor killing near Apache
