The Temple High boys face Anadarko High School in the last game of the season at Temple. Temple has already won one game against Anadarko this season and aims to remain undefeated in district play. A strong turnout is urged to boost the team’s bid for the state title.
A large gathering at Mrs Lowery on East Broadway marked a Home Mission Social last Monday from 4 to 10 pm. Attendees enjoyed refreshments, fundraising, and fellowship amid windy, dusty weather as the Ladies Society reported about $15 raised for the year’s work.
Maggie Davidson four and at her Anadarko home on West Central Boulevard hosted a small tea party with Misses Lacy Ethel Skaggs Maxine Schlitt Alma Dipperty Mastera Floyd Lacy Leonard Bradford and John Davidson. After refreshments the children played house and shared tales of their pleasant afternoon. The Morey company will present an excellent dramatic version of St Elmo next week at the Opera House. Myron Leffingwell adapted the tale after studying the famous characters, and the cast is said to fit their roles well, promising a finished, delightful rendition of the well known novel.

W D Turner a prominent Oklahoma City enforcement officer is fined in police court for an alleged assault on a Black man while on state enforcement duty. He has federal and county commissions and plans to appeal, with some confusion over identity. The notice also lists property for sale and boarding house, and notes judge Finley’s death in Hobart.

R E B Mitchell of Apache prepares to breed fine stock on a large scale. He has fourteen mares two jacks and a stallion ready for the season and two noted jacks Mamouth Jack and Mike with strong breeding records. Mitchell aims to add racing stock and a half mile track later, after purchasing his farm from the state three years ago.
