City Buys Fire Dept Horses From Joint Committee

Obituary for Thomas Cherry Dies After Long Illness
Thomas Cherry died at 12:10 P.M. Monday after heart and lung troubles. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the residence on Second Street and Arkarne Avenue, Rev. Farrington officiating. burial followed in the city cemetery. He moved from Town Culovade to Ann Adurko for health. He was nearly 59, leaving a wife, a son Burt and two daughters in Colorado who could not attend. The Democrat extends condolences to the family.

False alarm on poison report at John Sheridan home
Dr Campbell was summoned to the John Sheridan residence on East Central Boulevard Monday afternoon about 4. The report claimed poisoning but Sheridan was suffering a heart attack. He is now all right. Mrs. J. W. Reigh accompanied her husband, a Blair trial witness, who shopped in Anadarko after coming up from Apache.
