Colored school construction contracts awarded in county
At the Feb 25 meeting of the board of county commissioners the three colored school buildings were let to P C Stacy and Noah Ravenscroft of Anadarko as the lowest bidders. Each contract price is 345.50 with bonds issued and contracts drawn for all three locations.

Local Wage Scale Adopted by Anadarko Bricklayers
The scale sets bricklayers at 62 12 cents an hour and stone masons at 45 cents an hour. Eleven hours constitute a day. The new scale takes effect March 1, 1903. Andrew Paysen is in town today.
