Mayor files libel suit against Democrat for 10000 dollars
The mayor W H Edwards has filed suit against the Democrat for libel seeking 10000 damages over published criticisms of city administration. Papers served Monday with trial set for July 14 1902. The Democrat vows to unearth corruption and continue reporting despite the suit.
