A Delightful Picnic on Washita River Banks

A bygone school outing is described as a Golden Day spent yesterday along the Washita River. Mesdames Hudson Perrington and Maxwell chaperoned the Sunday school group from the M E Church. Activities included camping, fishing, games, a bountiful noon feast, and a moonlit hay wagon ride home. A large water moccasin startled the girls until Everett Parker intervened.
