Indian liquor case leads to federal court hearing
Harry Shirley was arrested for disposing liquor to the Indians and was tried before Commissioner Robinson this morning. Bond fixed, he furnished it. His case set for June 26. He recently read from Guthrie where he served a federal sentence on the same charge. Curry, arrested for selling to the Indians, was tried by Judge Robinson.

Cottenseed Oil Mill Proposal debated at Anadarko council
Last night the Commercial Club at city hall reviewed two oil mill proposals from A J Schmidt of Wynnewood and Wootten of Chickasha. Schmidt offered 30,000 with Anadarko 25,000 or a 10,000 bonus plus site. Wootten proposed a five acre site and a two press mill, ready by 1908, with possible 75,000 investment. The committee was instructed to draft terms with the preferred bidder, Wootten, who favors South Boundary site and a two‑press mill with future third press potential.
