The Democrat reports Judge L E Lange has moved to Tucumcari New Mexico to continue practicing law. He is known in Caddo County after four to five years in the city, previously leading the bar, but illness prompted his departure. His colleagues praise his honesty and skill while noting his move to a new jurisdiction.
Harry Shirley was arrested for disposing liquor to the Indians and was tried before Commissioner Robinson this morning. Bond fixed, he furnished it. His case set for June 26. He recently read from Guthrie where he served a federal sentence on the same charge. Curry, arrested for selling to the Indians, was tried by Judge Robinson.

Report of the condition shows assets total 22440 19 with loans and discounts 13858 19 due from banks 4885 42 cash on hand 2080 56 and banking house 1009 00. Liabilities include paid in capital 10000 00 undivided profits 1875 64 and deposits certificates 250 00. Cashier Ick Nevey swears to truth before notary on June 10 1907.
Last night the Commercial Club at city hall reviewed two oil mill proposals from A J Schmidt of Wynnewood and Wootten of Chickasha. Schmidt offered 30,000 with Anadarko 25,000 or a 10,000 bonus plus site. Wootten proposed a five acre site and a two press mill, ready by 1908, with possible 75,000 investment. The committee was instructed to draft terms with the preferred bidder, Wootten, who favors South Boundary site and a two‑press mill with future third press potential.
A caucus of the Democrate of Delaware Township in Caddo county Louisiana is called to meet at the school house of school District 37 on July 2 at 2 o clock p m for nominating township officers including township Trustee Treasurer clerk Justice of the peace and Committeeman with AnmsTRONG Committeeman as stated.
Normal Institute in the West End school building Anadarko begins July 15 for a four week term. Nellie Smith Newkirk leads first four grades with Nationalized Course of Study. Other instructors include May Overstreet Emporia Kansas John Butcher Tonkawa B Youngblood Pauls Valley and C Ross Hume Anadarko. Examinations for certificates August 8 9 under civil service rules.
Banner Cache Boone and Hele townships plan the semi annual Sunday School Convention at Pleasant Valley School house in Banner township on July 7. An unusually large attendance of Sunday School workers is expected.
