Death of John Thompson at County Home for the Poor
John Thompson a colored man about 40 years old died at the county home for the poor yesterday morning at six o clock of consumption. He had been living in a vacant house near the railroad track and was brought to the county home Saturday when his condition worsened. He came to Anadarko from Texas.
