Death of Effie Bradley Aimed at Lovejoys Pistol

Effie Bradley a schoolteacher and respected member of the colored community in Caddo County died last evening at the home of G Stines near the depot. She had been shot by Lovejoy’s pistol earlier in the day and died two hours after arriving at her father’s home northeast of Gracemont. The body was moved to her father’s home for interment.
