Destructive Fire Destroys Two Broadway Buildings
A major blaze Tuesday morning in Broadway destroyed two frame structures and damaged a brick neighboring building housing Youngheim Clothing Co. Firefighters saved the brick building next to the shop as flames engulfed the fronts and smoke damaged offices and stock. Insurance covered losses at Youngheim, Link Burger’s shop, and Roberts Bros., while the cause remained undetermined though suspected to start at the bowling alley rear. Continued on page four.
