Sunday morning Bristow resident M Bristow lit a fire in a cook stove then slept. The overheated stove ignited an ironing board and spread to the wall and ceiling. Firefighters arrived promptly and saved the partially insured residence with about 100 dollars in damage.

In Westmoreland Kansas the Military Girls display top state talent as a big pull wins attention from Fred Pfalhin of the Recorder. The town promises a treat for entertainment lovers as the group performs at the A M S on the 11th.
Anadarko couple Miss Abbie Williams and Ralph Sigman were married Friday evening at the M. K E church with Rev. Ira Hrabtree officiating. They will reside in eastern Oklahoma after the ceremony.
The Junior Thimble Club gathered Saturday afternoon with Miss Fern Wright as hostess. Young ladies worked on fancy work, enjoyed refreshments, and spent an hour of play. All reported a pleasant afternoon. next meeting will be with Miss Mildred Rogers. Also noted is a new shipment of Larabee's German flour at Tanner Bros.
Spdriel memorial services were held at the M. and church, Sanday, for Mrs. Hudson. Funeral rites at the Albany home featured selections from her favorite hymns and readings, with Rev. Foard delivering the funeral text from Revelation 21. A large turnout attended in Albany, and later interment occurred at Highland Cemetery in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
In Ann darko Ohio the First Methodist church honors Mrs Woo Bodby for four years of faithful Sunday school supervision. A teacher's Bible is given as a token of gratitude. Morris Leonhard chairs, with John Maxwell, F. E. Farrington, Sarah Baker and others. Mrs Hudson is praised for tireless Christian and educational efforts.
John D. Pugh has bought the Anadarko Democrat, taking over the business. All outstanding accounts for advertising and job work up to December 28 are payable to W. B. Stephens. From December 29, all accounts will be due and payable to John D. Pugh.
Donald DeWitt Campbell celebrated his sixth birthday on Wednesday evening inviting seven classmates. The children spoke fish jokes and sang songs before Mrs Campbell called them to supper. The birthday boy and friends will long remember the pleasant evening.

Fremont Boyles special agent reports the number of bales ginned in Nadado county as 90,086 up to December 5 1913, compared with 10,376 bales through December 1 1912. The report, dated by the special agent, notes the tally and value of 9.76 per 10 bales.
Mr Moore donated his music to charity workers for a special program held yesterday night. Proceeds will buy X mas treats for the worthy poor and to support shoe repairs by Silver Leaf.
