Judge Holding and Sam Overts receive a farm near Kiowa County and will start building sulphur springs facilities thirty miles west. They plan a health resort with hotel and bath houses to serve patients, asserting the springs' strong medicinal value.
A marriage license was issued in the county court for W. S. Bimpton and Adie Haight, residents of Keiley. Also notices a rental listing at the E. D. Williams property on East Oklahoma Ave by W. P. Hodson.

Ed Thompson and M. G. Mena were brought to Anadarko jail after forty six chickens were seized from their party. Officers watched as the two men allegedly bought and planned to sell chickens with a dealer, borrowed a horse and buggy, and were arrested at eleven o'clock. A warrant charging larceny of domestic animals awaits preliminary hearing next Tuesday.
Attorney Lingaay conducts the preliminary hearing today for the state in the Andrew Martin shooting case. The defendant, described as a negro, is charged with shooting Buck Ray, the other man injured in the incident.
