City Council Paves Main Street and Renames Streets
The city council met Monday approving Main Street paving from Second to Eleventh with cross streets. A liquor ordinance passed on third reading, sidewalks on block 55 ordered, blocks 48 and 49 sidewalks condemned, sprinkling paid on Fifth Sixth Seventh streets, vegetable wagons restricted to a city lot. Street name changes include Euclid to Kentucky and several others, parkage limits set by street width with Brongay to Rock Island RR to Tenth at twenty feet.
