After a long term of court in extreme heat, Judge Holding was surprised in the Robinson hotel lobby when Juror Holland presented him with a fine lounging chair as a token of the jury’s appreciation. The dinner earlier featured a feast for forty, with a brief contempt concern over Deputy Clerk Ovike being cited. Darius Stebner left for Joplin, Kansas City and Tupelo for a few weeks’ visit with relatives.
