Fair Store Enlarges Anadarko Building Plans
Contrasts were signed for a two story brick 75 by 100 foot structure between the Fair Store and Urquhart corner. The $25 000 plus project features a plate glass front, two side show windows, two 14 foot entrances and central 16 foot show window. Offices occupy the upper floor with electric lighting plumbing and wash rooms. Ready February 1 the building aims to be the citys finest store and potential opera house with 7500 feet of floor space. Nathan and DeFord expect spring occupancy and future city impact.

Drunkenness fines and street work for several defendants
In police court Judge Starkweather disposed of cases this morning. Albertson, Martin, Rosales and Lainz were fined $10 for drunkenness. unable to pay, they began doing good work on Bart Broadwny under a supervisor. Zahars, a Mexican, jailed for fast driving, fined $18 and placed on street work. Lowe fined $6 for drunkenness with stay of execution. Burnzaner to stay of execution for disturbing the peace. Mrs Anthony of Cullen secured $8 monthly pension, about $250 back pay, and $2 monthly for each minor child.

Girl's throat cut by wire in Oklahoma buggy accident
Miss Josie Windsor was thrown from a buggy near Hinton on Saturday evening and fatally injured when barbed wire cut her throat. Miss Nellie Agnon suffered a severe back wound and is expected to recover. Miss Ruby Windsor escaped serious harm. Funeral services for Josie Windsor will be held at her father's home with burial in Caldwell, Kansas.
