Judge Jere B Leslie born Monroe county Kentucky April 12 55 studied at Washington and Lee University and the University of Virginia then read law with his father Gov P H Leslie and was admitted to the Kentucky bar in 1876. He practiced in Glasgow Kentucky until 1887 then moved to Great Falls Montana and joined the Cascade county bar. Elected district judge for Cascade county in 1896 and re elected in 1900 his decisions are clear and firm. He is the son of Preston H Leslie former territorial governor of Montana and governor of Kentucky.
