Four Soldiers Die as Oil Tank Fire at Presidio Burns Heavy
Four soldiers were killed and many wounded when a 65 000 barrel oil tank at the Presidio of Monterey overflowed and ignited. Princess Helen Radzivill formerly Helen Simpson of Chicago and widow of Prince Ladislas Radzivil was killed at Mount Kineo Maine when she fell from a cliff while seeking a lost diamond ring. Second auto crash in same day claims life near Rosalia
In Spokane on September 14, Albert Btaht, 16, son of Dr. and Mrs. A E Btaht, died after a broken axle caused a car to leave a ditch four miles from Rosalia.
