In Anaconda a coroner’s inquest concluded Dr. W J Burns of Sheridan Mont was not charged after Gene Fitzmaurice three year old son of P A Fitzmaurice was struck and killed by a car driven by Burns. Testimony detailed brake use and attempts to avoid the child near 700 West Third Street. Witnesses described the scene, parental accounts, and the injuries to the child. The jury of William Ryan John Shagina John Byrne James Walsh Edward Morte and John Mangan returned without finding liability.
Evangelist H J Ranton conducts a series of meetings at the Methodist church this week. The first night drew a large audience, and the sessions begin each evening at 8 oclock. The public is invited to attend.

Police blotter reports five arrests yesterday with two for investigation and three for disturbances. John Conlon of Wallace Idaho and Tom Pearson from Tilt Hole were found roaming city streets by Officers Edmunds and Matchett and held for investigation. Joe Hunt and Doc Snell were charged with disturbance. Snell failed to appear and forfeited a $17 bond. Martin Leyden, noted as a drunk, was released later.
Starting today for one week the women members stage a handicap match tournament at Anaconda Country Club. The prior women’s match drew good turnout and two prizes will be awarded. Participants include Mrs C D Quinland Miss Helen Campbell and others with handicaps noted on the score cards.
A dog owned by Justin Bourquin of Butte leaped through a heavy window in front of the Nagi home on Cherry Street at Pony while accompanying his owner on a fishing trip with Gerald Nagle. The dog suffered severe cuts to the body and legs but survived after prompt medical aid.
An unnamed Ford car on Alder and Fourth streets yesterday afternoon collided with a Lashlovich vehicle traveling east while Meyers car turned. The Lanovieh car suffered serious damage according to witnesses.
