Seek to Enjoin New Haven Road From Issuing Bonds
Former Governor Bulkeley of Hartford and Charles Ensign of Newton filed a equity suit in state courts to halt the New York New Haven and Hartford railroad from issuing bonds totaling 367 million and 676520 additional shares of stock authorized at the Aug 22 meeting. A subs tema has been issued returnable the first Monday of December. The complainants are stockholders who say the extra shares would be distributed only to holders of proposed convertible bonds and would deprive them of pro rata rights in subscriptions for all stock, injuring their interests.
