Bari Roop a farmer near Lansing Michigan confessed to killing his two daughters aged 2 and 3 and burying their bodies in the Red Cedar river bed near his home. Sheriff Silsbee reported the confession and officers found the bodies in the river. Despondency was stated as the motive. Roop is held on a murder charge.
