The Anaconda Woman's Club begins its 1925 season with a general meeting at the library. President H.C. Gardiner will read a paper drawn from a letter by a pioneer woman about crossing in a covered wagon. Gerald Nagte will play piano, Miss Chiores Campbell will sing, and a 4 o clock program follows the 3 o clock business session.

Butte Eagles Host Social Session Delegation Visit
Members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles held a social session at the lodge on Thursday night. Don King, Mate president, was principal speaker while W. I. Maloney served as toastmaster. Final arrangements were made for a membership drive with the first clan of candidates to be initiated Nov. 4. Fall From Wheel Sends Man to Hospital
Claude C. Wattles, patient at Bt. Ann's hospital, was injured in a wheel chair accident yesterday. Backing the chair, it slipped off a curb and toppled him to the ground, breaking his right lower limb and leaving him mobility impaired.

Two Convicts Sentenced In Vagrancy Case
In Justice Henriod's Court yesterday afternoon two men were found guilty of vagrancy and jailed. Contant, arrested by city officers Wednesday night, drew a five day county jail term. Patrick Woods and Frank Goodman were jailed on drunkenness charges after arrests by Sheriff Mahoney and Deputy Oldhabler. William Wellenly received a five day suspended sentence after a police court trial before Judge Murphy.
