A man who gave the name John Sullivan, claiming to be a steelworker from Rutland, was picked up by Deputy Sheriff Booner early yesterday. He says an automobile struck him, leaving a gash on his forehead. He was treated by a doctor and spent the night at the county jail but is not detained.
