An official from Uncle Sam’s government on a trip with $93 in his pocket hid the money up his sleeve while walking three blocks in darkness to the depot. He reached the station without the wallet, missed the train, and with police and staff searching failed to recover the missing funds.

Five hunters returned from a monthlong Wyoming expedition reporting the slaughter of elk, bears, and deer on the continental divide near the headwaters of the Snake and Yellowstone rivers.
