Chicago November 19 veteran actor Frank Bacon famed for Lightnin as Lightnin Bill Jones died after a heart attack in a Chicago hotel at age 58. He had retired recently due to illness after four and a half years in the role and is survived by his wife and two children. Funeral services will be held in Chicago with burial in California.
Oklahoma governor J B Robertson rejected charges filed in Okmulgee district court accusing him of freeing a murder convict to kill the Okmulgee county attorney. James Hepburn, county attorney, sought to reverse a change of venue in Robertson bribery case. Judge Thomas A Edwards will hear the matter, per state supreme court directive.
A'drick Boman known as Isaac Boman, 46, shot at his wife during a domestic quarrel at 418 Mast Granite street, then turned the pistol on himself after firing a bullet that passed through her hair and another into his forehead. He died at his home. coroner to hold an inquest. He operated a soft drink parlor and had intemperate family troubles over property. Survived by wife, a step-daughter Olga, a step-son Emil, and other relatives in Finland.
Russell Allen, 26, ex serviceman, was killed instantly when the car he rode in left the road while approaching a bridge over the Big Dry river near Jordan Garfield county. His wife escaped serious injury. The couple had attended a birthday party in Jordan and were returning home when the crash occurred.
