Large Deer Hit By Butte Hunter In Basin Country
W J Heineman of 619 West Diamond Street shot a buck deer weighing over 350 pounds high in Jefferson county near Boulder Mountain Basin. Heineman and partner B E Harris dragged the carcass down the snowy mountainside by toboggan as crowds of hunters camped nearby.

Nobles of Shrine Hold Ceremonial in Butte Night Ball
Shriners from Bagdad temple held a ceremonial ball in the temple auditorium closing their conclave. A novices class moved over the flaming sands as visitors from around the state attended. The event included a banquet and ball with a busy day of formal sessions and degree work. In Toledo, Edward Drummond Libbey, famed glass manufacturer and art connoisseur, died at his home early today.

Butte Radio Club Enrolls 11 New Members Record High
Eleven new members joined the Butte Radio club last night, bringing total membership to 70 the largest in club history. R L Hoffstetter recapped the mic history from 1869 to modern broadcasting gear, and Charles Shannon of Western Electric discussed radio show trends and cabinet elaboration. A census committee was formed to map radio sets for reducing interference, with members urged to report their sets and locations. Next meeting is Nov 27 at the courthouse clubroom.

Holland Rink Opens With Skating Delight
The Holland rink opened last night drawing many winter sport fans for several hours of skating. Manager A E H Clarke and Tom McGeever lead improvements after fire destroyed part of the old rink. A hockey rink is under construction and league teams will participate again this winter.
