Ramos believed his partner steered the robbers into the crime. Ramos, a recent arrival from Deer Park to Butte, lost $56 while his companion lost $2 as masked holduppers searched them for valuables. McKinley Parent-Teacher Association and district residents launch an active drive to fund a new high school. A meeting of all district residents will be held early next week at the Woman's club building to decide whether to use direct levy or bonds. Mrs. F. P. Oke says the district could reconstruct for about 160000, with a mill levy on taxable value, angering status quo as the Bungalow serves only 60 children while 686 are of school age.
