The bodies of George Edwards 28 and Harry Cresswell 32 were recovered from Brown's lake eleven miles from Helmville after a duck hunting accident. Hersha swam to the capsized boat with a rope and, despite cramps, kept hold until Corkwell could tow them to shore. Edwards and Cresswell died, apparently from the cold, as the others tried to reach safety. The group had left Butte early Saturday with Mrs Cresswell and Mrs Hersha among them.
