Death of Willian Gordon Melntyre in Butte
Willian Gordon Melntyre aged two, secretary of the Buttendge of Fike, died at 130 North Montana street yesterday morning from heart disease after a long illness. A native of Canada, he moved to Butte as a child, attended public schools, and held jobs at Ana cconda Copper Mining, Mohlans Hardware, and Harry O’Gorman’s cigar store before health issues forced retirement. He never married. survived by parents Mr. and Mrs. Donald Melntyre, sister Miss Florence, and brothers Russell and Howard. A Mason and Elk, he will be mourned by a large local circle. Funeral services at 2:20 this afternoon at the Masonic temple under Elk and Mason auspices, with Rev. E. J. Grosnveld officiating. burial in Mount Moriah cemetery.
