A juror panel for Judge McClernan's department was formed with 31 jurors drawn and 12 excused. Names of jurors and those exempt or failing to appear were listed, along with two warrants for non-appearance. The first case involved M D Kelley v John C Dalan and C H McCoy, ruled in favor of defendants by default, ending the matter.
